Hawkeye Camera is a family venture.
Larry Swinburg is lead photographer and is joined in
managing the company by his wife, Cathy, her
brother, Ken Allen, and his wife Jo.
Larry is a professional
photographer who has special talents in sports
action photography. Larry has also mastered many of
the sports he covers by being a fully certified
professional ski instructor, avid road bike, dirt
bike, motocross, motorcycle enthusiast, and ATV
rider. Many o f Larry’s posters
still hang in the ski lodge at Bend, Oregon, where
he taught for many years. Larry is also a
professional musician playing saxophone and flute
and has recorded with groups in Las Vegas and more
recently with his vocalist wife, Cathy.
Cathy Swinburg is the “people person” with
extensive experience in customer service and
property management. She was also a photographic
technician for 13 years at the Oregon Regional
Primate Research Center in Beaverton, Oregon. She
will make sure that you are more than satisfied with
Hawkeye Camera services and products. |
 Ken Allen is a PhD physicist,
former professor at Georgia Tech, University of
Florida and Johns Hopkins University and is
currently with Boeing. He is also a “tech guru” who
has been an amateur photographer since his early
teen years.
Jo Allen is the financial brains of the operation, having
been in the mortgage industry for 28 years, and as
an internationally certified software QA Analyst, Jo
will make sure that the quality of our products is
second to none.
